Altered rabbits enjoy a wide range of health and behavioral benefits, including:
Increased lifespan – Spaying and neutering your rabbit will reduce his or her risk of developing reproductive cancers (ovarian, uterine, mammary, and testicular), leading to improved overall health.
Better behavior – The onset of sexual maturity (somewhere between the age of 3 to 8 months) often brings with it undesirable behaviors, such as spraying, biting, lunging, or destructive digging and chewing.
